Makeup for a Filipina on a $60 Budget

I am very excited today because I have been given my first challenge by a friend of mine. She is a very fun, spunky, and beautiful Filipina who has asked me to find her a nice nude lip gloss, and a matte berry red lip colour that doesn't look too "80's chalky" as she put it. I also want to find her a nice pallet for her face and complete her look with some mascara. She's also told me that she likes the look of Vanessa Minnillo, and that they share similar skin tone.

The challenge here? She has set her makeup budget at $60.00. No problem! I've found some great products, with manageable prices. Let's see what she thinks!

FACE-
We'll start off with a tinted moisturizer by Neutrogena. I've picked Neutral to Tan in the Healthy Skin Enhancer line for her because it has more yellow in it than the darker shade, Tan to Medium, which may be too brown for her skin. This product has anti-aging properties, is SPF 20 and is oil-free.

BLUSH-
Finding the right blush can be extremely difficult. You're either stuck with a shade that's too dark or too light. I've chosen Stila One Step in Rosie Posie for her as this magical product is an all-in-one and is Paraben-free. This beautiful shade seems a bit bold, but it has great consumer reviews, is said to be extremely blendable and is great for the eyes, lips and cheeks. A very subtle amount on the apples of her cheeks and cheekbones will look absolutely lovely on her.

MASCARA-

I would recommend Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara to anyone. It doesn't matter how long your eyelashes are, the wand that comes with this thing is amazing!

And now to her actual request, the nude lip gloss. I've selected Bare Escentuals "Pretty Amazing Lip Color" in Pink Toffee. I LOVE this colour and I think it will suite her suberbly!

MATTE "BERRY RED" LIP COLOUR-
And last but not least I've found her a perfect Matte lip colour by Inglot. This product is also Paraben free and is not tested on animals. It's called Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil 20. It's just the right blend of red, fuchsia and pink.
