This lovely Parisienne came into the spotlight in 2009 when "Inglourious Basterds" was released in theatres. I was specifically captivated by her in "Beginners" when she starred alongside Ewan McGregor in 2010.

What I love about Madame Laurent is that she has a very uncommon beauty and a classic style that is rare in Hollywood. Her hair is never perfect, not every strand in place, her makeup is always classy and subtle, and her clothing is never obvious or gaudy.

In this image you will see how such simple makeup and hair can be so timeless and beautiful. On her face you can see she is wearing a light foundation or tinted moisturizer, and bronzer on her cheeks, forehead, nose and the contours of her face. Highlighter has been applied to the inner corners of her eyes and the apples of her cheeks. This makes her look awake and her skin look healthy.

On her eyes she has a purplish-bluish-grayish shadow on the top and bottom lids, which makes her aqua green eyes REALLY stand out. Mascara has also been applied to the top and bottom lashes, which opens up her eyes. Dark or black eyeliner outlines the corners of her eyes, while a very faint gold liner traces the inner lower lid.

Her lips are glossed with a beautiful pink berry that is very similar to her natural lip colour. Her eyebrows are perfectly arched and not over-plucked. 

And to complete this look, her golden locks have been tied in a loose chignon, with a vintage chain headdress.
